Part 2 of 2. Classic Game Room reviews CALL OF DUTY: WORLD AT WAR for the Xbox 360 video game console. This Call of Duty World at War review shows gameplay of this intense first person shooter. Footage of the game highlights the action and intensity of the gunfights and all out mayhem. This is actually Call of Duty 5 (or at least we think it is), and COD WAW (like WAWA!) is a WWII based FPS shooter game with excellent graphics, style and gameplay. The game has online multiplayer and co-op cooperative gameplay over Xbox Live. CGRHD loved the strategy required to play through parts of the game like the trenches in the Pacific campaign. World War 2 games have come a long way since 1999 when we reviewed the first Medal of Honor game on the Playstation, and this game launches you into Saving Private Ryan style action with several campaigns of war film inspired zany mayhem. Handheld style camera work, HDTV graphics and surround sound gunbattles round out the experience. We didn't care for the menus much, or the jumping around of the plotline/dates, but whatever. We're here to blow things up and use the flamethrower on anyone who gets in our path. Call of Duty: World at War is reviewed with the traditional Classic Game Room eye for detail and respect for games of the past, present and future.
